Happy Cyber Monday! ..and busiest shopping time of year
I'm big on online shopping. Save gas money, save time, save money by researching to find similar items at a lower prices, and at this time of year, save yourself from fighting traffic, long lines, and save your life [have you seen how cray cray people get on Black Friday?] So my opinion is that if you're online shopping at all you're doing it right, BUT if you're not using EBATES
, you're missing out!
SO EASY: EBATES
is pretty much the only way I shop online and it's so easy. With over 1,700 stores I never have trouble finding what I need! I simply log into my EBATES account, search for the store or the item I'm looking for, click to open a shopping cart at that store, and start shopping and earning!
Saving money is something else I'm 'big' on so I'm always on the lookout for great deals which are guaranteed at EBATES. Even if they don't have a current coupon code for the store you're wanting to shop at, you're always going to get cash back. On average, I usually get about 3.5% cash back. There are stores that only give 2% cash back, there are stores with 10% or more, and some days stores have special "double cash back" times [like today!]! Even as little as 1% is still something in my eyes. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE:
If you've seen the commercial on TV you've probably thought, "no way" - and I can tell you, the amount some of those ladies have 'gotten back' is either blown out of proportion, combined from several years, or they have a slight shopping addiction. My first check was around $15, nowhere near $900, but that's my half of a date-night dinner out, a movie ticket, or a few specialty coffee drinks at Starbucks! I honestly thought it was too good to be true but so far it's worked. If I'm already shopping online, I may as well get a little extra back! DIRECTLY FROM THE EBATES WEBSITE: "People often ask: "This sounds too good to be true, how are you able to do it?" It really is quite simple. Just like almost every other online shopping center, we get a commission from the stores when you make a purchase. Instead of keeping that money - like almost all other sites do - we share it with you!" SIGN UP NOW:
Signing up is so easy and EBATES does not ask for any bank or credit card information, simply an address for where they should send the check. Which, ps., they're also willing to send to a charity of your choosing if you wish. You can learn more by clicking the link below! Happy Shopping!
I am so in love with all of the new graphic prints this summer, especially the pineapples! I purchased the dress pictured above during J. Crew Factory's 50% off sale and absolutely adore it despite having to send it back for another size! [may want to go a size up on this dress if you're larger in the chest area]. The two Target tanks are so fun and perfect for summer. Coming from California, I had forgotten how HOT the East Coast can get with humidity - these were not a planned Target purchase [what ever is?!] but I was so hot running errands one day that I grabbed them thinking I'd slip into them later if need be. Modeled after my favorite Target v-neck tees, they're light and breathable as well as an amazing steal at under $10! The cute palm tree tee is on sale at J. Crew and also comes in a cute white with gold foiled palms! Links for each item are listed below!
Also crazy popular this year is the palm leaves print
, I just haven't personally found anything I love for myself! Have a great weekend!
Yes. It is past Friday - eek! We were traveling back from our House Hunting trip so this post got neglected. Even if it's late, I had to post to fill you in on a sale, so this is more of a PSA than anything.. everything Kate Spade
is 25% off for Friends and Family through Sunday! Yay!
Kate and I are kind of friends from afar. I love to admire all of the gorgeous purses but I have to steer clear of stores to keep my wallet [and marriage] safe. I wasn't even aware until recently that there was more to Kate than pretty purses, shoes, and accessories; she also carries a line of things for the home including fine china, vases, etc. Anyway, these are a few of my favorite home items!
Clockwise from top left: 1, 2, 3, 4
| | 1. Scented Candles - I love Kate Spade for the witty quotes on most of her products. Not only do these smell good, they're beautiful and include cute and inspirational quotes and sayings. I think I need the blue one for our new adventures in North Carolina!
2. Market Street Collection - One of the main reasons I chose a white dish for our main dishes when we registered is because you can always dress them up! These fun dotted accent plates would be perfect on top of a white dinner plate for Easter with colorful antique drink ware or even these cuties from World Market for Easter brunch!
3. Things We Love Collection - This collection is cute, fun, and colorful, but what I really love is the coffee table book. I have seen it all over Instagram for some time and heard everyone ranting and raving over it. Quite honestly I didn't think anything of it or believe it could be that great. After turning through the pages at B&N, I can see why people love it - definitely gets the creative juices flowing [if being creative is your thing] and definitely looks good on the coffee table!
4. Daisy Place Collection - I saved the best for last! How stinking cute are these little dishes?! I love organizational items - especially ones this cute! I am so excited to be moving in to a new place in Charlotte where there's a designated "entry space" that these can sit near to place keys, sunglasses, mail, etc.! [While I love our current apartment, it is small and you enter directly into the family room so we often loose our keys and sunglasses before making it to the kitchen cabinet where they belong, and mail ends up everywhere from the coffee table to the dining room table and beyond!]
And on that note, I'm going to head to the Kate Spade Outlet! Hopefully I can keep my husband under control this time..
If we could afford to have our entire home decorated by Pottery Barn, we probably wouldn't be opposed. But we're young and love to travel, so we put our money in that direction for now. And the reality is, I shop too much to place all of my eggs in one basket - I love mixing pieces from different places and I'm pretty good at finding expensive pieces for less. That doesn't mean I don't indulge in a PB Sale every now and then, or still consider them as one of my favorite stores
when searching for something for our home, because, they are. Our bedding is from there and I love
Shag is back, and I am in heaven. Wool shag rug, wool shag throw, and my new favorite shaggy faux-fur pillows! The pillows were from Pottery Barn and, surprisingly, they were way less expensive than any other store!:
My faux-fur pillows in their new home! Other pillows pictured: Sequin Tile Pillow Cover [Pottery Barn] and Rosette Pillow [old Crate & Barrel, no longer available]
Look for Less
I am obsessed with the big, fluffy, faux-fur pillows - but the prices, not so much! I was shocked to see that Pottery Barn's regular pricing was way less, and I got them at the Sale price! Luckily I already had pillow inserts so I don't need to purchase the inserts, but even if I had to, the Pottery Barn complete set of pillow + cover would still be less than just a cover anywhere else! The PB pillows are faux-fur as opposed to 'Mongolian Lamb' but they achieve the same great look and are still soft!
